What is Dry Wash?
It's like dry shampoo, but for your clothes. Dry Wash is a fabric-friendly spray that helps reduce odours, relax creases and reduce static between washes. Because sometimes laundry day can wait.
How do I use it?
- Spritz. Lay your garment flat and spray evenly from about 15cm away, focusing on the underarms and other high-wear areas where odours tend to build up. You'll notice the fragrance is stronger at first as it gets to work, then it settles into a lighter, fresher scent.
- Smooth. Gently smooth out any creases with your hands. This helps work the formula into the fabric, relaxes creases and reduces static. Wash your hands after use.
- Hang. Hang your garment for 5 to 10 minutes and let gravity do the rest. If you're only refreshing odours, you can skip this step and wear it straight away.
- Wear. Pop it on and get on with your day. We won't tell anyone.
What fabrics does it work on?
Dry Wash works best on everyday fabrics like cotton, linen, denim, viscose/rayon and most common fabric blends.
It's not suitable for silk, suede or leather.
It's perfect for the clothes you don't wash after every wear, like jeans, jackets, knitwear, workwear and even activewear between sessions. It also helps reduce static on fabrics like polyester, nylon and spandex blends.
If you're unsure, always patch test on a hidden area first.
Do I spray it on wet or dry clothes?
nueday. works best on dry clothes, making them fresh again between washes. You can also use it on damp clothes to help tackle odours. Just know it won't speed up drying or reduce wrinkles.
How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
How long does it last?
Unopened, Dry Wash has a shelf life of up to 2 years.
Can I still wear perfume or cologne with it?
Absolutely. Dry Wash settles into a light, fresh scent that layers nicely with your favourite perfume or cologne. We'd just recommend giving it a minute to dry before spraying your fragrance.
How many sprays do I need?
It depends what you're refreshing.
For odours, around 4 sprays usually does the trick. ‘One spray at each arm-pit area, one on the front and one on the back.
If you're tackling creases as well, use up to 10 sprays across the garment. More product means a stronger fragrance at first, but it'll settle as it dries.
Will it actually get rid of the smell, or just cover it up?
Dry Wash does more than sit on top of your clothes. It's formulated to help neutralise odours at the fabric level, not just mask them with fragrance, so it gets to work rather than covering things up.
It's still not a replacement for a proper wash. If your clothes have stains or heavy build-up, they'll need the washing machine. But for yesterday's shirt, your favourite jeans or the jacket you've only worn once or twice, Dry Wash is an easy way to freshen them up between washes.
Does it replace washing?
Nope.
Think of Dry Wash as buying yourself another wear, not skipping laundry day forever. Your washing machine still has a role to play.
Do you offer free shipping?
At this stage we don't. Maybe one day in the future as nueday. grows :)
How much does shipping cost, and how long will it take?
We ship from Sydney via Australia Post and aim to dispatch all orders within 72 hours.
Once dispatched, standard shipping typically takes: 2 to 3 business days to metro areas. 3 to 5 business days to regional areas* (depending on Aus Post wait times)
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional cost.
Do you ship internationally?
Not just yet. We currently ship within Australia only, but international shipping is on our radar.
Do you process orders on weekends or public holidays?
No. Our warehouse team takes weekends and public holidays off too. Orders placed after business hours on Friday will begin processing on Monday.
Can I bring it on a plane?
Absolutely. At 100mL, Dry Wash meets international carry-on liquid regulations, making it the perfect travel companion. Just make sure the lid is securely fitted before you pack it, and check your individual airline's carry-on liquid requirements before you fly.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Email us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update it. Once your order has been packed or dispatched, we may not be able to make changes.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel your order, email support@nueday.com.au as soon as possible with your order details.
Our warehouse team works quickly, so we can't guarantee we'll catch it before it's packed, but we'll always do our best.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
I received a damaged or faulty product. What do I do?
Oh no! We're sorry to hear that.
Please email support@nueday.com.au with details and a photo of the issue, and we'll get it sorted as quickly as possible.
